Conformal symmetry

In quantum mechanics, conformal symmetry describes a theory in which the distinction between “large” and “small” appears to blur.

Explanation

As distances approach the Planck length, shapes remain distinguishable, but dimensions and time intervals become less clear. Size and time intervals are then relative concepts.
